The Moose River Rock Dodgers has been the Concord area's snowmobile club since
1971. We cover 50 miles of trail in this area. The fifteen dollars you pay for your
club membership when you purchase a TMA helps defray the expenses of grooming
and trail maintenance all year long. This is for actual expenses such as groomer
payments, fuel and parts. The members who do the work are all volunteers. All
members of the club are welcome to attend our meetings, held on the third
Tuesday of every month at Sorrell’s Shop on Fornier Road, Concord, at 7:00 pm.
Every year the Moose River Rock Dodgers hosts a huge barbeque (in June) for the
landowners who own the land we ride on. Ninety percent of all VAST Trails are on
private land; their use is donated by the landowner. That is why it is SO
IMPORTANT to respect their land, their privacy, their animals, not make
unnecessary noise, ride safely and STAY ON THE TRAILS.
We want to be able to KEEP using these trails.
Every fall the Club holds a "Trails Weekend". This is when the fun begins! All members are invited to join in for brush cutting, trail clearing and bridge repair work. We meet at the Mooselook Restaurant at 7:00 am and then enjoy Lunch back at the Mooselook for a break. In the evening there is always a friendly "get together".
